Southeast, Alaska's panhandle, stretches approximately 500 miles from Icy
Bay, northwest of Yakutat, to Dixon Entrance at the US/Candian border beyond the southern
tip of Prince of Wales Island. Massive ice fields, glacier-scoured peaks and steep
valleys, more than a thousand named islands, and numberous unnamed islets and reefs
characterize the area where few flat expanses break the steepness. Spruce, hemlock and
cedar, cover the mountainsides. We have Bed & Breakfast association members in Angoon, Gustavus, Haines, Juneau , Ketchikan, Petersburg,
Sitka, Skagway, Yakutat and Wrangell
